Hey hey .... we are planning our reopening !!

March 14 was our last day of piercing before we were shut down due to COVID. It has been a complicated and tedious time with a lot of change for everyone. I want to assure Lions Lair customers that we are working on new measures that complement our existing health board approved practices. We do not have an official guideline for re-opening. However. What I do know is in order to do my job well I have to be close to my clients, I have to ask them to take deep breaths and be... in their close space. I have to be prepared to further assist them if there are any side effects to the piercing (nausea, anxiety, passing out). Nose and mouth piercings are some of the most common piercings we offer. We see about 10-15+ people a day normally (pre-COVID). Not all clients are getting a piercing, some are buying jewelry or having a care consultation or check-up. We are navigating scheduling around the number of people we can see in a day and also being realistic about what social distancing in this industry means. It's not just us, in the studio, it's also the tattoo artists and their clients as well. We want to continue offering safe piercings for our clients, and continuous customer care from the time the appointment is booked, to the very end of healing and beyond. There will be changes to our operations but this will stay the same, the health and safety of our customers and staff are the top priority. Currently, both Kierra Cates and myself are affected by immune compromising consideration. So it is with this awareness that we will be preparing, but waiting to open our doors.
