I am glad to see that Health Standards Organization - HSO, the Standards Council of Canada and the CSA Group are working on a process to address these issues in Canada. To have your say in what you believe long-term care in Canada should look like, check out the following link: https://longtermcarestandards.ca/your-input

Recently, the University of Guelph was granted gold rating for their sustainability efforts across academics, operations, community engagement, planning and administration, and innovation and leadership. The Canadian pathway to net zero goes through the University of Guelph. Federal support to install more ZEV charging stations and investing in greening the University Centre heating system will help Gryphons to continue reducing their environmental impact. Big news Guelph! Today I joined with the University of Guelph to announce two projects that are going to make a big impact. The federal government is reducing emissions at the University of Guelph by upgrading the campus heating system. Over the lifetime of this project, UOG will see a 62,000 reduction of greenhouse gas emissions which equivalent to taking 19,000 cars off the roads for one year! We've also partnered with the UOG to help them install 20 additional EV charging stations. Jonathan Wilkinson Seamus O'Regan
