well Lloydminster...THANK YOU!! thank you for your support, your curiosity, your feedback and of course...shopping with our newest social enterprise this year! "Thriftmas on 50th" has now closed for the season!... It was truly an incredible experience for our team to provide you with a different Christmas shopping experience this year! If you have never thrifted before, thank you for checking us out!! So many of our customers expressed to us that just by popping in to "Thriftmas on 50th" they felt better and that our store had a "positive vibe". "It is soooo sparkly in here! I LOVE it! Just coming here makes my day!" so, with that, we encourage everyone to come and shop with us at our flagship social enterprise - @'For the Interval' Store! We are open Monday through Saturday from 10-4, and all of our revenue is reinvested in our programs and services!
Here is a handy guide to refer to when you are trying to figure out which items you should donate and which you should dispose of. Please know that your donations matter and make a difference in the lives of many. Thank you for thinking of us!
Donating during our designated hours (7 days a week, 10am-4pm), helps us ensure that the donations you drop off can be used to help support our clients, community members, and the programs offered by the Lloydminster Interval Home Society. When donations are dropped off after hours, we cannot control what happens to them and more often than not, they are damaged by the time we get to them the next morning or gone completely. When you drop off your gently used items during our donating hours, we can GUARANTEE they will be used for what you have intended. Thank you!
Start your volunteer story today! We are looking for volunteers to assist with organizing and pricing book donations as well as keeping our book room neat and organized! A great role for anyone who loves being around books! For more information contact [email protected]
We are so grateful to receive donated furniture and be able to help out our clients when they are moving into their new homes. However, a lot of furniture is donated in less than ideal condition (stained, torn, wobbly or downright broken!) While we are grateful that you think of us when donating, we want to remind you that we cannot accept these items. We wouldn't feel comfortable providing a dirty mattress to a client when they are starting over in their new violence-...free home, nor would we feel right putting that item on our sales floor. We end up disposing of those items, which stretches our inventory staff and volunteers. Please DOUBLE CHECK your donations and if something is meant for the garbage dump or a recycling facility - please take it there!
Let us do your gift-wrapping for you!
Did you know that we don't have laundry facilities at our store? That being said, we have to redirect all clothing and other textiles like sheets, blankets, or pillows that are dirty, torn, or worn out. If you wouldn't feel comfortable giving these items to a friend, we don't feel comfortable giving these items to our clients or community members, nor are we able to sell them.
We love the holiday season deerly here at Thriftmas on 50th! Holiday decor, unique gifts, and more! 4810-50 Avenue
we are EXCITED to be open for you today! 50% off all items at BOTH of our locations!! 'For the Interval' Store - open 10-4 "Thriftmas on 50th" - open 11-5... happy thrifting!!
Did you know that the Tuesday after Black Friday is called #GivingTuesday!
