TIP #1: A LIVE COOKING CLASS Food always unites people. Attempt to recreate a family favourite and enjoy it with your virtual audience. It might not be the same as grandma used to make but she’d appreciate the effort.

TIP #2: ACTIVITY BOXES Create a gift package for loved ones participating in your virtual meet. Activities can include ornament and décor making, colouring pages, cookie decorating and more. A great way to keep kids entertained while every household enjoys making the same thing.

TIP #3: DESSERT CHALLENGE Inspired by the Netflix show Nailed It!, each virtual team attempts to create a culinary masterpiece for dessert. A clever twist is to use a standard item and reimagine it to see who comes out on top. For example, use a Gingerbread house kit but make anything but a house.

TIP #4: GIFT EXCHANGE Go digital. You can purchase a gift card nearly everywhere these days so get creative when you give the gift of choice.
