NEW WORK! ‘AUM’ - the sound of the universe, which when chanted it allows us to feel our connection to everything within. When you enter AUM you step out of the hustle and bustle of everyday life and step into calm. The worries of your day melt away and a smile creeps across your face as you slip off your shoes and relax with a cup of warm green tea. I had the pleasure of working with Patti to design the branding for her new beauty and wellness spa in C...laremont, California. The logo includes the mountains in Claremont, the ocean and the sky; very natural elements. On slide 1 is the primary logo, slide 2 is her brand board and slide 3 is the secondary ‘stamp’ logo. New project coming soon I wrapped up this Branding project with @aumbeautyandwellness last month. The business is still being created by the lovely Patti. It’s located in California and will be a spa I wish I lived closer so I could take full advantage!... This concept is one we created but it didn’t make the final cut. Patti wanted to connect with the ocean, mountains and sun that California is known for. You can actually see the mountains from her new location if you look out of the window. How amazing is that?! #tbt to one of the shoots I styled with @one.lux and @tracey.jazmin I love the photos we took in this shoot. It was so creative and pretty spontaneous. Sina brought a bag of ingredients like fruits and nuts and I had to make the sets up on the spot! / UNUSED LOGOS / I wanted to share a couple more logos that never made the cut, this time for Jess at @jbrandbeauty. ... We had such a great time designing her fantastic brand and it’s one of my favourite projects to date. Along the way we worked through different styles of fonts, different layouts and tried to incorporate different details. I picked these two logos out as two designs I really liked for different reasons but ultimate we decided not to take forward. I think for me the great thing about these logos is the movement between the letters. They both have unique ‘connecting’ design features which I though was really special! What do you think? UNUSED LOGO The branding process always requires many different logos to be designed before you find the ‘one’. Quite often I create something and I think to myself, ‘YES, this is the ONE’, and then my client has a different idea, haha. ... That’s the beauty of working with different people. It pushes me to keep going and undoubtably my work gets better and better because I don’t settle on the first thing I create. I absolutely love this logo combo for @jadoretescils so I wanted to share because we’ve ended up choosing an equally if not better option to develop! We ended up taking a couple of these elements and rolling it into the other board that was chosen because some parts were too good to miss!
