There's food, pet waste, paper, yard waste, and wood, but the largest percentage of our waste comes from non-degradable items, like metal, glass, and plastics. Good news on the #toyrecycling front. Toy giant LEGO has brought their Lego recycling program to Canada. "Lego is expanding its Lego Replay initiative to Canada, allowing kids to donate their old Lego blocks to Canadian children’s non-profits." Once old legos are cleaned up, they get shipped to classrooms in need. Sounds like a great program. If you have any old lego blocks lying around, get them out from underfoot and send them to Lego Canada. ... #reduce #reuse #recycle
