Final week of our Spring Food Drive supporting the Ottawa Food Bank! In advance of the Food Drive we donated $5000 to sponsor their farm so they can grow lots of healthy fruits and vegetables to feed our community. Thank you to those who have donated already. Layer on pre-washed leafy greens. Add pre-shredded chicken. You can pre-shred a store-bought rotisserie chicken. Add cut up fruit or veg of choice. In this salad, apples and strawberries were used. Top with a heart-healthy fat source, such as hemp hearts, avocado, or walnuts. Add your favourite dressing. I used balsamic glaze.
