Boot Drive update! It’s about a month into our Virtual Boot Drive and we’re very pleased to say that we’ve raised just over $2500! A huge thank you to everyone who has taken the time to donate online so far. Thank you to local businesses like Rellish Transport (pictured) for your support of our charities and to the Vernon Square Safeway for allowing our boots to be stationed at their tills! Be sure to check your smoke alarms!

Vernon Firefighters Local1517 27.10.2020

Just a friendly reminder that this Sunday (Nov 1), it'll be time to "fall back" one hour as we return to Standard Time. This means it's also time to check your... smoke and carbon monoxide detectors to make sure they're working and the batteries are charged. Fire Chief David Lind reminds us: "Working smoke alarms save lives!" Learn more about smoke alarm safety here: http://ow.ly/TNQ950C6AYK
