Calgary Police Officer Sgt. Andrew Harnett was killed last night in the line of duty. Our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends and everyone at @calgarypolice.

Crews were on scene early this morning and were able to quickly contain the fire.

Where does the money go: All proceeds will be split between the BC Burn Fund, the North Okanagan Hospice Society and Muscular Dystrophy Canada Draw will take place on February 1, 2021. We are very excited to announce that we will be conducting a Winter 50/50 Draw for charity. Tickets will be sold between December 1st and January 31st at $20 each, with only 1000 printed. There will be one winner drawn on February 1st! Proceeds will be divided between the BCPFFA Burn Fund, Muscular Dystrophy Canada and the North Okanagan Hospice Society. Tickets will be available at the front door at Fire Station 1, with Covid restrictions in place. Please wear a mask if you will be purchasing in person. Boot Drive update! It’s about a month into our Virtual Boot Drive and we’re very pleased to say that we’ve raised just over $2500!
