A recent policy change from the Province of BC has reduced our ability to respond to life threatening emergencies. In some instances, Fire Rescue will only be dispatched if BC Ambulance is delayed by 20 minutes. While we appreciate the consideration for our safety and exposure, limiting our responses at this critical time could have life changing impacts on the emergency care you or your family and friends receive.
