An update on the implementation of the collective agreement for previous UTE members: Past employees will receive their retroactive pay and $500 in recognition of the extended implementation timeline at the same time as current employees.
The new collective agreement is now available electronically on the UTE’s website as well as through the employer at InfoZone and Canada.ca.
On Human Rights Day, UTE joins the PSAC to stand with federal public service workers who identify as Black, Caribbean or African descent in the class action lawsuit filed against the Government of Canada.
Marc Brière, UTE National President, has provided information on the interpretation and implementation of a newly negotiated clause, clause 60.01, for members working in Call Centres (including Debt Management Call Centres).
