Shout-out to Wayward Distillery! We are so proud to work with and support this amazing team who really stepped it up during these times to protect our community. They transformed their spirit distillery into a hand sanitizer operation as global supplies dwindled at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Well, it's no secret the places we love to dine out are going to look and feel a bit different for a while. At Locals, we have been working closely with the Comox Valley Economic Development Society, the BC Food and Restaurant Association and WorkSafeBC, over the past two months to understand, establish and implement new standards of procedures to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission. We are working vigilantly to reimagine our layout to allow for safe physical distances ...between guests. Pictured above is a separate walkway we have landscaped into the garden to allow for one-directional traffic in and out of the restaurant. We are accepting and encourage reservations, however at this time cannot take specific table requests as we are still working on the dining room layout to align with government implemented safety protocols.
