Dental Hygiene appointments As of May 12, 2020, NB dental hygienists have not been certified by their association to return to work. We will keep you up to date as to when this changes. Until then keep brushing and flossing!

Eastside Dental office rebrands Our team misses providing care for you. We miss hearing about your adventures and families, helping you eat and speak comfortably, and caring for your smiles. Having a career that interests us, gives us purpose and contact with our patient family is an important part of our lives. We’ve taken some time during quarantine to make changes at Eastside Dental. We are officially changing our name to Loch Lomond Dental for a fresh start. Please update... our contact to [email protected] so we don’t miss your inquiries. In response to Covid19 pandemic: Infection control has always been central to our dental care, from masks and gloves and uniforms, to rubber dams, plastic barriers and eye protection. In addition, we are taking the steps of refitting the office. We are separating our operatories with sliding doors and enclosing our sterilization room, as well as adding a privacy barrier in our reception area and reducing our waiting area capacity. In preparation for opening, we are asking our patients to respect the boundaries we are establishing. The waiting room will only accommodate patients who are receiving care; no other family or friends will admitted (exception special needs patients who will be allowed one care giver to accompany them). Social distancing at 6 feet is not always possible so please wear you home-made cloth mask in our reception area. Hygiene appointments will be abstaining from ultrasonic scaler use to minimize aerosol. Hand scaling, although not as efficient will be utilized at this time. Dental filling procedures will be performed exclusively with rubber dam application, again to minimize aerosol. Our usual high level of instrument care and sterilization will be continued, as in 2019 we added the position of instrument reprocessing assistant to our team. In addition to our usual personal protective equipment (PPE) will be adding high filtration masks, head coverings, full facial visors, eye protection, surgical gowns. We may look different, but underneath it all we are the same great team.
