July 20th: Loch View Farm will have fresh ground beef ready for Wednesday afternoon or evening. The price is $6.00 for 1 pound packages and $5.50 for the 5 and 10 pound bulk packages. The first of the ground beef will be ready Thursday evening, July 16. If you are wanting to get some let us know by Wednesday evening. There will be another batch next week as well.

We will have fresh ground beef ready by the end of next week or early the following week, if everything works as planned. Due to the processing costs increasing we have to raise the price to $6.00 for 1 pound packages and to $5.50 for 5 and 10 pound packages. It's that time again!! Please slow down, pay attention and stay back! The farm equipment you are following won't be going far, it'll only be a few extra minutes. Please don't try to pass unless they have pulled over, giving you room to do so. Too many blind hills and double lines so don't risk your life and the lives of others!!!

We will have fresh ground beef available near the end of this coming week. If you are interested in ordering, please let us know how much you would like via private message or phone 902-754-5429 no later than Tuesday (May 19th) evening. Available in 1 lb vac pack ($5.50/lb), or 5 lb. bulk($5.25/lb) and 10 lb. bulk($5.25/lb) packages.

****IMPORTANT*** Due to overwhelming support, we have needed to make some major changes to pick up for online ordering. We would appreciate you reading and then... sharing and spreading the word. If the Market is to continue, it's very important that those ordering come in the appropriate time slots. We know there were unintended challenges with pick up and we have been working closely with the New Glasgow Regional Police to come up with a better system for pick up and that will keep the safety of you, our volunteers and staff as the highest priority. We have extended pick up from 2 hours to 14 hours over two days. We are still divided by last names, it is imperative that you come on your assigned day in your assigned time. If you come on the wrong day, your order will not be ready. SATURDAYS: Those with last names A-L A-E: 9:30 am - 11 am F-I: 11 am - 2 pm J-L: 2 pm - 4 pm SUNDAYS: Last names M-Z M-O 9 am - 12 pm P-T 12 pm - 2 pm U-Z 2 pm - 4 pm We understand that this may be an inconvenience for some, logistically it's not easy for us to do either. However, it is very important that we make changes to comply to the guidelines put in place during these unprecedented times. There may still be changes to make, this is only the first and second week. Please hang in there with us and thank you for your continued support of your local Farmers Market. Also, in order facilitate these changes, we are in need of refrigerated coolers and deep freezers. If you know of someone who would be willing to donate or lend, we would be grateful. We would also like to thank the New Glasgow Regional Police and Town of New Glasgow for helping us navigate through this so that we can continue to bring local, healthy food to our community.
