Our Christmas letter to you: Merry Christmas Everyone Covid continues to creep around us here and there but we can still say Merry Christmas and wish each other good health and warm fellowship. We are realizing more than ever that there is a spiritual dimension to our lives. With all these rules about who, when, where we can go, it’s becoming clear how much some people really matter to us. We’ve found ways to connect. It’s been wonderful that we could gather during some m...onths and worship safely all the while following provincial guidelines and recommended church routines. We have also become aware of how easy it is to tune into words of worship with our former leaders: Kevin Cox, KeithWiseman, Kate Jones. Maybe there will be more lockdowns. We have plans and patterns for keeping connected. Let us know if you want to help with phone calls or card writing or messenger connections. Let us know if someone needs a visit. When our visiting is restricted we still need to share the important messages: That we are spirit as well as body That we are loved by a creating, loving God That forgiveness will always wash over us and give us a second chance That we have this choice we can do good and follow wholeness We can feel joy pandemic or no pandemic ! Worship this Sunday is at 11 a.m. in Lockeport. We are happy to say that our Anglican friends will be holding worship the next week on Nov. 8 in Lockeport. Here is our schedule for United Church Worship: Nov. 1 Lockeport; November 8 Little Harbour; Nov. 15 Lockeport; Nov. 22 Little Harbour; Nov. 29 Lockeport. Yes we require masks and are all set up for distancing. All materials are cleaned and/ or unused for 48 hr. before service.
