Merry Christmas! Imagining that first Christmas. Remembering those first few hours after having our babies. Exhaustion mixed with overwhelming joy. Praying your day was filled with those same feelings. Love Joanne

It's official- we made it to the last week of class before Christmas! Which means every year that we celebrate by dancing in our PJ's. That's right, the whole week is a Pajama Party, and we have so many reasons to party with you! So grab your favorite jammies and a stuffy of your choosing and come ready to celebrate!

Almost back to a fully functional plumbing system. Just a little reminder- only toilet paper flushed down our potties please.

Plummer is coming this AM, Thursday December 10th. Please pee before you come to class.

To our LOFT Family, As most of you may have seen, today Dr. Bonnie Henry and the Government of BC implemented a Health Order that requires all businesses with indoor group physical activity (including dance studios) to suspend theseactivities. Therefore,all classes will be cancelled from Monday November 9th until Monday November 23rd at noon. Please know that we will be working diligentlywith the authorities to ensure that we are ready to re-open and welcome our dancers b...ackinto the studio as soon as restrictions are lifted. As per ourPayment & Refund Policyany classes cancelled due to Health Officials and Government Regulated standards will be credited back to accounts at the end of the semester at a rate of $11.50 per 60-minute class and $9.50 per 45-minute class. We are so thankful to have you as our LOFT Family. We are continuing to pray that each of you will remain safe and healthy during the next couple of weeks. It is at times like these that I am so thankful for a creator who knows better than I do about our situation. I am able to rest in the peace of knowing that despitethe disappointmentwe may feel regarding our circumstances, this event will ultimatelybring Glory to His good name. I am finding tremendous strength in that at this moment. My thoughts and prayers for resilience go out to our LOFT Family and the community of other businesses affected by these closures. So we got word yesterday that we can still dance! So classes are running until otherwise mandated. We also got other news regarding what BC's Christmas will look like. Regardless of what your opinion is on the matter I just want to let you know I am praying for you. The first Christmas looked mighty similar. Perhaps if we can feel all our feelings now we can embrace some of the beauty that will come through all of this. Praying for redeeming hope and joy to fill up your h...earts and gratitude for what we do have (including dancing with you these last two weeks before Christmas together). Love Joanne See more

We feel like we are just the luckiest and most blessed business in town. We are so tremendously thankful for our LOFT family and can clearly see how God has worked in the last 8 months to provide a way for us to all be together (while remaining 6 feet apart). To show our appreciation for how generous you have been we would like to inform you that all the earnings from these new additions of LOFT WEAR and our collaboration with @smokingguncoffee LOVE LOFT Blend coffee will be ...donated to a very good friend of mine @amyelenaaa . Who has found herself, for lack of a better term grounded in Peru during this pandemic. While there she has bootstrapped her own charity with help from some locals. During the initial lockdown they started a few soup kitchens and delivered groceries to ensure that those who couldn't provide for themselves and their loved ones had the basic necessities. Right now her focus is on education. She is teaching and assisting in areas of people's lives where they will be able to be self sufficient and contribute to their communities. Money is essential for putting diapers on babies and getting the most basic of antibiotics to sick breadwinners. We are praying that meeting essential physical needs open up discussion to the most important thing which is spiritual healing through Jesus. So when you purchase your LOFT WEAR you are not only going to be getting your new favorite garment but you will also be assisting in sharing the love of Jesus approximately 7,811 Km away and that just gives me goose bumps. My family had the opportunity to spend sometime discussing this life and the affect this new world has on our mental health as individuals and as a community. This grey Monday morning has me praying for you and your families. You can find us doing our usual this week in our bright studio which I am so incredibly thankful for.
