John and I held a last minute executive meeting, where he made a motion that we honour Rememberance Day by closing the Pub. I seconded the motion, and it was carried unanimously. Just like that. Lest we forget .... see you on Thursday!!

After realizing that remaining open to provide a service for our community and selling off-sales, cigarettes and food to go is only facilitating house parties and encouraging the possible inundation of "City-Folk" thinking of self isolating in Rural BC over Easter, we have made the following Executive Decision: We are closing the Log Cabin Pub as of Thursday, April 2nd, so that we may self isolate and close any portal of getting it or spreading it to our tiny, highway community. John & I agree that the Orders & Precautions by BC's Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, are more important than ever for the next few weeks, and the amount of compliance British Columbians invest during this time will set the direction of the curve, and affect the speed of recovery.
