I have been so incredibly busy potting, dividing, planting and seeding! So much is growing, blooming and sprouting! I could take a day posting just to show you, but I am behind in my seeding! Got to get those tomatoes seeded! Posted the flower pics to keep you interested. Lol I will post again soon...I promise!
O.K...another beautiful day in paradise! Here is what is blooming right now.
O.K it's been another busy month! Lots of things blooming and lots of things sprouting! I will post details later...back to potting!
Another round of aconite and snowdrops! + hostas, cyclamen, pansies and more!
Oops... going to bust this puppy out and get some pepper onion and leek seeds going!
Did a little planting for my friend Joyce. She is a wonderful friend who drives me for all the things I cannot do on my bicycle. She purchased the primula and I added aconite, 2 types of snowdrops and a little cyclamen that is in bloom!
Good morning boys and girls! I have to say that this has been my busiest January ever! In the past in horticulture I would sleep for a month after going hard all season. In the last week I have found new homes for 100s of these beauties! Already getting calls for garden help from new "friends". More to share today as is windy out there at 3 degrees. Going to stay in and cook, clean and plant + post some more!
I have many of these lovely January blooms for sale! 2 types of snowdrops and winter aconite.
January 15 planting. Finished planting the garlic that was sprouting (including good root action) 2 types if spinach outside. Cilantro, spinach x 2, winter lettuce in the cold frame.
Planted today. Amazed by the roots already coming!
Prepped beds today. I will be planting spinach tomorrow. In the cold frame spinach and a few lettuce and maybe some kale will go in.
Now I know you cannot eat this but this is one of the most spectacular fall colour in the Cowichan valley! Each year it has been different...I just love it. I noticed that the tree was covered in seeds so I parked 40 of them in this bed. Hopefully we will get sprouts so I can share this beauty!
