My educator cousin Vanessa recently chose to be deployed to Cuba. Amid a pandemic and now a hurricane (Eta), she emailed this week, mentioning amazing people, no power for hours, and a Dutch ambassador's comment, "You come into Cuba crying, and you leave Cuba crying."
