Here at Lolart, we nurture creative development to give learners the tools they need to be confident in their own imaginations and understanding of the world that surrounds us! Register today to explore our imaginations and silliness! LOL https://web.lolart.ca/reg.html... Young learners will explore their creative ‘minds-eye’ by experimenting with various materials and practicing some cool techniques! They will also explore and appreciate the world around them as inspiration for their artworks! By the end of the term, the learners will acquire good working and art-making skills to showcase visual stories. As skills develop, advanced learners will be introduced to foundational art skills that include the development of conceptual ideas, observation of their surroundings, problem solving, and the application of aesthetic elements and the principles of art/design. The learners showcase their skill set by experimenting with various materials and techniques through the effective combination of creative exploration.

Come join us for a fun interactive learning experience! At LOLART, learners will create art that is made of dreams, wishes, and the concept of time while learning Art History! Registration is open! web.lolart.ca/reg.html ... During the "Art that Redefines" Art Movements lesson, the learners will discover how the Renaissance shows Italy’s new life and what is important to them like family and beliefs, while the Romantics reveal it is important to show our mistakes, emotions and wishes, because that’s what makes us so awesome! During the Art that Makes Rules Art Movements lesson, the learners will study the exaggerated contrast of the Baroque style, and the Neoclassicist style of combining the old with the new to determine how art enforces ethics and social rules, like chewing with your mouth close! LOL.

As we continue to work together to minimize the spread of COVID-19, LOLART School has made the decision to temporarily close our Hove St, Midland, Markham, Pape, and Victoria/Sheppard locations. As a means to continue to offer classes, we will remain open at our Richmond Hill location with minimized class sizes and will continue to offer online classes! LOLART School online courses are perfect for those who are still wanting to explore their creativity while taking the necess...ary precautions during the pandemic. Learners can continue to LOL & make ART from the comfort of your own homes! Class size will be slightly larger on the online platform which will also allow students to continue to socialize with their classmates! Class sizes for the online course will be limited to 4 students maximum. The world is our canvas, even if the world is explored from the comfort of our own homes. We thank our North York community for the continued support as we persevere through the pandemic.

Registration is now open for the fall term, starting September 12th! Join us for in-person or online classes! The LOLART portfolio class is designed to help each student perfect a portfolio of work for entrance to the school of their choice. We design the program based on individual student strengths and the requirements of the schools to which students apply. Our program encourages students to develop their skills and creativity through the use of 2D and 3D mediums in imagi...native and observational work. Presentations and art critiques are important aspects of auditions and interviews for any school; that is why we place special emphasis on mock interviews and understanding of the artistic process and practice. This class runs continuously throughout the year, students can join at any time. Register through the portal linked below: web.lolart.ca/reg.html

Here at Lolart, we believe in smaller class sizes to best accommodate students’ individuality! Each learner has unique experiences that can translate into exceptional, visual storytelling. We offer private classes for PA and Portfolio levels to further that specialized learning environment which will enhance the learning experience. The tools that the learners are developing to be confident in their own imaginations and understanding of the world that surrounds them will be continuously explored! The learners showcase their skill set by experimenting with various materials and techniques through the effective combination of creative exploration.

Dear LOLART parents, we are REOPENING for IN-PERSON classes starting September 12th-November 1st! As we move forward through these unprecedented times, LOLART would like to update you on some changes that will take place starting in September. Firstly, in-person classes will be offered at certain locations, but class sizes will be limited to 3 students maximum. Also, there will be changes to the semester length. LOLART has decided as an attempt to reopen safely, we will begin... running classes for a 2-month term. That means learners will attend classes only from September-October to start. In addition, masks may be mandatory even with the 2 meter distance and the extra efforts for classroom cleanliness that our staff will be enforcing. Teachers will be putting forth extra measures to ensure that the classroom is disinfected and our classrooms will be equipped with air filters. LOLART School will continue to offer online courses for those who are still wanting to take extra precautions during the pandemic, which will allow our learners to continue to LOL & make ART from the comfort of your own homes! Class sizes for the online course will be limited to 4 students maximum. Private lessons will also be offered for those who inquire; these lessons can be scheduled for our in-person or online classrooms. Thank you for your continuous support and patience as we approach the school year! Sincerely, LOLART TEAM www.lolart.ca https://www.facebook.com/lolartcanada
