This week is Bullying Prevention and Intervention Week. The students in Grades 3 to 6 participated in a poster contest known as the Let’s All Be Friends Campaign. Photo attached showcases some of our upper grade students, and their work!

Today was Remembrance Day and our school recognized this solemn day in a variety of ways. Some of our students read books, had a discussion about the symbolic poppy and others tuned in to Prime Minister Trudeau’s speech. The entire school observed a minute of silence and reflection at 11:00am. Every class in their own way paid tribute to the soldiers who have fallen for the purpose of our freedom. We are grateful to all those who served and continue to serve and protect our wonderful country Canada. ~Principal, Mrs Frydman.

The LCHDS student council started Spirit Days for our students. Yesterday was Decade Day and we loved seeing everyone dressed up! The kids really enjoyed planning their costumes and wearing them to school. What decade did your child dress up from?
