The Leadership and Peer Support class (GPP3O) prepares students to act in leadership and peer support roles in their school and community. Students design and implement a plan for contributing to LCH; develop skills in communication, interpersonal relations, teamwork, and conflict management; and apply those skills in leadership and/or peer support roles. Return to School Update - Part 2 Yesterday, we announced that students in Middlesex-London, Oxford, and Elgin counties may return to school effective February 1, 2021. Today we’ve received confirmation that our students living in Huron-Perth, Lambton, Brant, and Norfolk counties can also return to school, which means that ALL of our students will be back in classes on Monday, February 1. We are thrilled to share this news!

Earlier this week, the Grade 9 French class wrapped up the quadmester by putting together Romans 5:3-5, using the Louis Segond version of the French Bible. May we all find hope in these words during this time. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

***Exciting News!*** The mobile computer classroom built by LCH students in 2019 has arrived safe and sound at its final destination in Tanzania! This video recaps the project, shows where it's located now, and includes a big thank you to all who supported this project.

Please join us in welcoming Vicki to our LCH team! Vicki joined us in the Administrative Assistant role in August. She comes to us with a strong background of customer service and project management. Vicki was raised in Aylmer and went off to Mohawk College in Brantford to study General Business. She worked full time at Autodata Solutions for 22 years in various roles. "A true passion to be part of a community and to help others has been growing deeply within. I am blessed to have found this opportunity at LCH and thrilled to join the administrative team." - Vicki

Yesterday was our first day of school and it was great to see everyone again! Though school looks different these days, it's wonderful to be in school all day every day again. Continue to lift us up in prayer as we adjust to a myriad of changes.
