Good afternoon, We trust this finds you and your family well. We are writing regarding the Premier's announcement yesterday that Dental Services will be re-opening on Monday, May 4th across Alberta as part of the first phase of business re-start. However, further clarification from the Alberta Dental Association and College is required regarding specific requirements that will outline the scope of services that can be performed, how many people may be in the clinic at one ...time, and utilization of clinic spaces. We are monitoring this situation and will be ready to welcome you back as soon as permitted. You are already aware that our clinic has been open and providing specified emergency treatment since March 17th. We have obtained the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and have reviewed and modified clinic protocols and procedures through the past 7 weeks that will enable us to provide you and your family treatment at the appropriate level of competence and safety. At your next visit, you will notice that things appear a little different in the clinic. Some of you will notice a now standard use of masks, gowns and face shields similar to our "surgical protocol" and that there are fewer people around. You may also notice that our team may ask a few more questions of you when we re-book your appointments and we will restrict access to our treatment areas. These processes are necessary to ensure safety for you, your family and our team. We will be updating this site over the next few days with more details regarding the May re-opening plans, and we thank you for your loyalty to our clinic.
