Electric Mustang How you feel about it ?
PlugShare has always been my goto app for finding charging stations. Today, after 3 years using the app, I noticed ads for the first time. If it helps keep it free, I don't mind them as long as it doesn't overwhelm the app. Do others see this? What do you think?
New information on what % to charge to for battery longevity.
Hemp batteries. What a great idea!
NOT in Canada you say?? Pity.
Way to go, OPG.
Many models available these days ...

Not sure I believe this.
I've had my "compliance car," a 2016 Ford Focus electric (FFE) (and love it!), for 4 years now. I could not wait for the model 3 at the tim, as I needed a car s...o I chose electric when range at that price was a very basic 125Km (in the summer). But I did it knowing that better was coming, and relatively soon. I love that car and I don't regret my decision. (I actually really enjoy "range stretching" and have become such a cautious and more attentive driver as a result.) But as the options increase and prices become more reasonable, I find myself thinking about the next car. And so far, keeping up with developments daily, I feel that I really agree with this headline. I've decided I'll probably keep my FFE and replace my ICE SUV with a Model Y. I'm just waiting for the 7 passenger version, which will only be available next year. If we take price off the table, in addition to frequent OTA updates, it's the charging network that seals the deal for me, both in terms of speed AND availability. What do you all think? Should I just get the model Y to replace my SUV or buy or wait for some other similar offering... wait for the potential of their offering and the non-Tesla charging infrastructure to materialize?
A video with quite a few more details on the Hummer EV.
I don’t even know if this is a possibility, but maybe someone here may know. Is it possible to get solar panels that would feed into the charger in our house? If so any recommendations?
These conversions sound like a great idea. If done at a dealership instead of DIY, hopefully it will be easier in Ontario to change over the vehicle registration and insurance. Right now both of those are a nightmare for DIY conversions.
