Tune in TODAY Saturday, October 17th at 11am to see the AFTER renovation of this house located in Komoka, completed by Millennium Construction & Design Inc. AFTER: This home was compartmentalized into various rooms. The homeowners needed more living space, so we enclosed a ... side porch to add to the existing house and we removed most of the interior walls of the main floor giving the open concept look. In removing the walls we also had to accommodate relocating heating and plumbing lines going to the second floor and to make the main floor look seamless. We relocated the kitchen to the back of the house and added large sliding patio doors to give a view out to their back yard. In moving the kitchen to the rear of the house gave us opportunity to reconfigure the existing kitchen area to accommodate a main floor laundry room and mudroom. Virtual Parade of Renovations Location #2 Tune in on Tuesday, October 13th at 11am to see the AFTER renovation of this house located in London, completed by Riverside Construction AFTER: Kitchen/Main Floor Remodel Removed two walls at kitchen, and walls surrounding stairs to create open concept main floor. Existing laundry/mud room was converted to butlers pantry/mud room, with access to laundry in converted closet space.... Features include: Open concept layout, custom cabinetry, butlers pantry, bench/lockers, new hardwood flooring, automated lighting, built in corner booth bench at dining table, new fireplace and surround. Location #1: Grand Bend Tune in TODAY at 11am to see the AFTER renovation of this summer house located in Grand Bend, completed by CCR Build + Remodel AFTER: Essentially completed a full update transformation on the entire summer house. Two highlights were the opening up of the stairwell to have a better flow from the lower level to the main floor with a brand new ash ...staircase. An old camber topped window was replaced with a pitched window to mimic the floor to ceiling fireplace stone. Quite a bit of pine interior wainscotting, cabinetry, stairs, ceiling beams were removed and replaced these with lighter more neutral material to make the space feel more modern and open, allowing for a much better view of the heavily treed beautiful backyard space.
