Happy mother's day! It's been a while since I've posted on the feed and been active, how are you guys doing? I don't post photos of London Ivy online and thus many don't realize we are named after a real person, but here she is. Caregiver fatigue is real and draining. Being a mother has been both the most rewarding and challenging part of my life. Dealing with a sick child challenges you in so many ways and it lead to me dropping the ball all over the place (other than with ...her thank God). Weekly hospital and doctor visits since October, many medications and consultations later and she is still sick but managing. Children are so resilient and she has taught me so much about continuing on no matter what and about adjusting with the tides. This process triggered so many things I thought the first set of theapry years ago had prepared me for but it definitely didn't. With returning to therapy I have been learning how to not let my myself fall into 'the dark place' of complacency and avoidance. To those that check in thank you! To the customers, online and wholesale, thank you! The world kept moving and kept my business going and growing but now I want to work on building and rebuilding relationships. If you have been waiting on a reply or hangout with me it's coming. There is so much more complexity to my life than an Instagram caption can hold but we're back.
