Did you ever wonder why aspirins are not typically given to children? #ReyeSyndrome - an acute condition which causes swelling in the brain and liver. It commonly affects children and teenagers who are recovering from some viral infection, usually chicken pox or flu. Strangely, #aspirin has been associated with the condition; thus the caution in administering aspirin to children.
