We asked some of our volunteers why volunteering is important to them. Thank you so much for all of your hard work David!
Trust this message finds you all well and healthy. We are going through some concerning times for cancer patients and survivors, it is important to stay positive and supportive to those around us. I look forward to getting back to our regular monthly meetings, in the interim should you need any assistance do not hesitate to reach out.
Through collaboration with and the full support of London Health Sciences Foundation, the Dash 4 Dad committee has decided to postpone the upcoming event on Fat...hers Day. We are saddened to have to postpone the event, but with the progression of COVID-19, we want to ensure the safety of everyone involved. Although Dash 4 Dad will not be happening on Fathers Day, prostate cancer is still a true reality. That is why Dash 4 Dad will now be taking place on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Springbank Gardens (same location). Please monitor your email and social media for further communications. Keep safe and healthy! Sincerely, The Dash 4 Dad Committee

The "A Night Of Comedy" fundraiser was an incredible evening of laughs and entertainment that raised a total of $15,684.00. We would like to thank all the people who came to the event, all the businesses who donated money, the businesses and people who donated silent auction items, all the corporate sponsors, 99.1 CKXS Radio, the Courier Press for helping us with the advertising, the people who baked goods for the snack table and the ones who worked behind the scenes voluntee...ring their time to help out in different ways. You all helped to make this event the success it was so we could surpass our $15,000 goal. Over the last 5 years we were able to raise just over $50,000. After hearing from from Greg Hetherington, host of our local radio station, 99.1 CKXS, that our local food banks are struggling to keep there shelves full, our A Night of Comedy Fundraising Committee decided to donate $5,000.00 out of the $15,864.00 to our local food banks. Our community comes first and and we love our community. There is a need now more then ever because of this unprecedented situation with COVID-19. Im sure that the people who attended and donated to the event would approve of this decision and will feel good about their contribution. See more
The Prostate Cancer Night of Comedy is proceeding as planned! We are putting a number of protocols in place to ensure everyones health and safety such as hand sanitizer and are cleaning the facility even more rigorously than usual. Please remember that the most effective way to prevent the spread of disease are things you do yourself:... wash your hands often if you cough or sneeze cover your mouth with a tissue or the inside of your elbow if you are unwell, please self quarantine and seek medical attention if you have been out of the country please do not attend events with crowds See more
