Although it has been a while... London has been hard at work again.... This time making "Magic Reindeer Food". After scrummaging through the storage room for supplies she has found a way to help our community and give back. You will receive a sealed box of Magic Reindeer food that can be handed out to the little ones or if you choose you can fill out the address section and stick it the the mail. Seeing that the only new investment she had was a shaker of sprinkles and a box ...of candy canes it was decided that she would donate 100% of the profit to the Olds and District Christmas Angels Society. Once the funds are collected (based on the amount raised) she will select names from the Angel Tree and personally select the perfect gift for each child. These are a limited supply (we only had 30 boxes) so when they are gone... they are gone! She is selling them for $15 each and are available at The Lady Bug Studio in Olds or The White Door in Carstairs. The ladies at these great stores would like you to pay cash for your Magic Reindeer Food to keep it off their books seeing the money is directly going for non profit. London's mom broke her wrist in late July and London was unable to make some of the late summer markets. Come out to see us at the last event of the season.

Attention Everyone! Come cool off today at the Olds Farmers Market with some tasty Lemonade and Treats. London's Lemons will be at the Olds Regional Exhibition from 3:30 - 6:30. ***Disclaimer... London was the both writer and director in this production. Apparently when you are 7 having a youtube video means you are famous... (sigh)

HOW IT ALL BEGAN! Every little girls wish is to set up a Lemonade Stand during the long days of summer vacation and London is no exception. She asked me one evening last summer if I could build her a stand and I quickly stated.... "Well I think that is more of a job for Grandpa" one quick call to Grandpa and London's wish was Grandpa's command. Within days Grandpa had whipped up the BEST Lemonade stand. Now the only problem we faced was, How do we sell it? Living on a farm wi...th a mile long twisted drive way is not the best high traffic location. With that said the awesome ladies at the Olds Regional Exhibition offered London a space at the Olds Farmers Market to sell her tasty Lemonade. Tim and I felt is was important that London realize that so many people invested time and money to grant her wish with the only the payment in return was a bug hug! That being said we explained a few charities that would interest London and asked her to pick one or two in which she could donate her time and profit in order to help others as well. She picked "Make a Wish Foundation" and "S.T.A.R.S - In the Name of Cody Sibbald." With the stand in storage for the winter at the break of spring London asked "When will I be able to sell Lemonade again?" With the heat of this summer and the help of her borther, cousins and friends, comes more Lemonade sales. Thank You to Olds Regional Exhibition for the space again this year as well as a big shout out to Beck Farms - Rod and Shelley Brandshaw as well as Innisfail Growers for donating some early season space at the ever busy Red Deer Farmers Market.
