Dogs feel human emotions and don't let anybody tell you different. Recently, my Grandmother passed away from lung damage due to Covid-19. My family couldn't have a funeral so it was streamed online. I didn't take the day off and I never do...these dogs are a distraction during crisis and they always make me smile.... As I was listening to my Grandmother's service Athena (riding shotgun) stuck her face under my chin and stayed there. I took a picture to preserve this touching act even though I'm not likely going to forget it anytime soon.
