How I stretch in between clients No but for real, when I started out in this industry initially as a lash artist i wasn’t prepared for how much physical pain you could be in if you don’t regularly stretch. I know it might sound silly..you’re just sitting in a chair doing lashes??? How does that hurt. Well it hurts when you do multiple clients a day and each set is minimum 2hours, the concentration and stillness a lash artist picks up can eventually lead to physical pain ...on ourselves. I do wrist and finger stretches when I have lash clients, I do upper back and arm stretches when I have facial clients, I do lower back stretches when I have full body treatments (body contouring). My entire job is catering to others and ensuring they have the best experience ever but in order for me to do that I have to properly take care of myself. And that means. Stretching. Meditation. In previous years I was stretching all the time because I was playing sports and working out. But the body and mind are connected and it’s now a tool I use when I feel anxious. Take just 10 minutes out of your day to stretch and watch how amazing you will feel. Fun fact: I originally went to school for kinesiology because I was fascinated with how the body works, corresponds, moves and heals. Now I’m obsessed with skin and all things beauty
