Absolutely stunning morning for a walk by the ocean. Blue skies, clear water, and the scent of the ocean floating on a warm breeze.

The Town of Point Rosie was resettled in 1969 and many of its residents moved to Garnish. Today there is an ATV trail that connects the two communities and some resettled families now have cabins in Point Rosie. The route travel approximately 25kms along the shore of Fortune Bay and features beautiful scenery.

On the narrow strip of land between Garnish & Frenchman's cove, just a couple of minutes from your cottage, you will find a great area to stroll and enjoy nature. This area features an easily accessible beach and grassy trails lined with long grasses and wild flowers. This is one of our favourite areas to walk with our two Border Collies, Willie & Wrangler, who like to think they can catch the tiny birds and butterflies that flutter about in the grass.
