Craniosacral therapy is a very gentle touch is used to 'listen' to the slow pulsation generated by the cerebrospinal ebb and flow throughout in order to find wh...ere the motion is disturbed or constricted or resistance within the body structure and consequently where the body function is being affected. The therapist then helps the body to re-establish the original flow by assisting in the resolution of any resistance patterns. The craniosacral system of the body consists of fluid and membranes that surround and protect the spinal cord, encompassing the bones of the skull, face, and mouth, all the way down to the sacrum and tailbone. This physiological system begins functioning in the womb and continues its function until death. Craniosacral Therapy helps remove impediments to the flow of cerebrospinal fluid, which have been created within the cranium and spinal cord. A nervous system free of impingement allows greater support of the natural healing processes, like strabismus and amblyopia. #holistichealth #eyehealthtips #eyehealthmatters See more

I was just listening to Gabor Mate speak today. One (of the many) interesting points he made was that we all have stress, but when we experience stress and social isolation, that's when we can really run into difficulties. So here's an opportunity to get some fresh air and pump up your social nervous system in good company.

Among the most profound things that my study of human anatomy has taught me: it is that the hand can't say to the foot, "I don't need you," nor can the eye say ...to the ear, nor the mind say to the heart, "I don't need you." Connection cannot logically be denied, nor the implicit dependency and causality of the whole, upon the whole. This has led to my keen interest in the tissues that have historically ended up in the bucket without much attention being paid to them. It has also led to my deep suspicion that the seeming space between "you and me," the seeming space between "us and them," is illusory. We can only feel in our body love, or hurt, or anger, or despair, or excitement, or rage for this or that thing or person, because we are connected, continuous, and whole. Our personal contribution to the shared texture, the shared fabric, the seeming space "in between" is the measure of our lives, and, "the measure you measure out, will be measured back to you." What flavor are you adding to the cake we are all eating today?! See more
