The Coach This quickly became one of my favourites. When I first put this together, hockey was still happening. I bet it was a sight for sore eyes when the recipient not only got to be in the presence of other people, but gift-bearing ones at that! ... I wonder what hockey will look like for kids, coaches, and teams this year. Can you see the coach's face? The coach HAS A FACE!

Aries I was thrilled that my friend and coworker said that she wanted a small paw print with her cat's name on it. It made the perfect "remember both of us" gift when I moved across the country. I'd only met Aries once, but I'd heard what a special cat she was. Such a bond we form with our pets. ... Gone but never forgotten.

The Three Sisters ...is a mountain near Canmore AB. It's three peaks are known individually as Big Sister, Middle Sister, and Little Sister. My client, an avid hiker and mountain biker, didn't care that others may not recognize the iconic peaks. I, myself was afraid that they'd just look like three rocks on a page. I did end up naming it in the left hand corner just to help people out a little!... All in all, I think this turned out pretty good. I definitely see the Three Sisters. Are you familiar?

Fishing with Grampa As much as I love surprising people with a finished product, I do like knowing that they're getting what they want, so collaboration rules! When I first put this together, I had only one fish. The customer wanted both of them to have fish on. Of course! Why didn't I think of that! ... I think he should call this piece, FISH ON!

I made a little sumpin' sumpin' for my new favourite camping people. Oh how I wish I'd met them sooner! Jeep girls AND camping buddies. For our first trip out, they had bought their tent off kijiji and were setting it up for the first time. I was helping them clean it out and picked up a couple stonesshe steps aside so I can throw them out of the tent! I'm like, are you kidding me, these are GREAT stones! and stuck them in my pocket. And now they're the fire pit!... They love it.
