Shout out to all the exhausted moms out there who keep pushing onward because quitting is not an option! Today’s workout was tough. Really tough. Little miss Lia still doesn’t sleep through the night. But I cannot use that as an excuse. (Even if I really want to!). Change is what I’m aiming for and it won’t happen if I don’t push through the hard stuff. #onedayatatime

I was super busy yesterday and unable to post a transformation Tuesday pic. So here it is. The two top pictures are of me at nine months postpartum with my first baby (who is now six). The bottom photos are of me now at ten months postpartum with number 3. In the top photos I was very unhappy with my weight. I had already lost some pounds when those photos were taken. It was then that I decided I needed to make a change. It was then that I started my first ever fitness journe...y. Fast forward to six years later and I’m now on round three. Along the way I’ve learned so much about fitness and healthier foods, and I’ve learned a lot about myself too. Never give up! Even when you are at your worst. Just take it one day at a time. Before you know it one day turns into 7, then 14, then 60 etc. And before you know it you’ve reached your goal! I’m still striving for my goal but I’m very proud of the progress I’ve made so far. So many moms try to cover up their saggy skin and stretch marks after having babies but I think we need to change that way of thinking. Embrace it. Love it. You created life; so saggy skin and stretch marks are your badges for doing so! I’m fairly pale right now (thank you winter), so my stretch marks don’t show as much, but believe me they are there; along with saggy tummy skin, a warped belly button and diastases recti. This is the third time I’ve started my fitness journ...ey over again and while I’m only ten months postpartum right now I’m so proud of the progress I’ve made. It takes time, patience and hard work. And it is okay to spend that half an hour four days a week on yourself. It’s ok! You’re not taking anything away from your kids. If anything you’re giving them a precious gift: a healthy, strong momma! I truly hope that I can be an inspiration to at least one person. It would all be worth it! #loveyourself See more

My littlest munchkin turned ten months old yesterday. Where does the time go? She has been my biggest fan throughout my new fitness journey. Even tries to workout with me sometimes! So far it’s been five months since I was able to really start this journey over again. And I’m so proud of the progress I’ve made. I’ve lost all but seven pounds of baby weight and I’m feeling amazing and strong again. Shout out to all the other for moms out there who work their butts off! You’re doing an amazing job!
