We need a few extra days to get organized and will be contacting everyone who had a cancelled appointment. We would like to give those the opportunity to re-schedule. Hello everyone, After today’s announcement by the Ford administration, salons remain closed for the time being. Because of the uncertainty of the dates, we will not be re-booking appointments at this time. When our region receives the green light to re-open, we will begin making calls. Clients with appointments cancelled during our second closure will be given priority and calls will be made in sequence they were cancelled. We would like to take a moment to say THANK YOU to our amazing clients who continue to support us at Looks. You are so appreciated! As most of you know by now, a second closure is upon us due to safety concerns regarding COVID-19. ... We will be closed until further notice starting December 25th, 2020. Rest assured, all clients with appointements during this closure will be given the opportunity to re-schedule. Calls will be made to everyone in the sequence they were cancelled, once we are given the go ahead to return. We are hoping only two weeks if the Algoma region stays strong! Starting Thursday, June 18th 2020 Looks Hair Studio is happy to announce we will re-open our doors!! Providing a clean, safe environment for you and your s...ervice is our #1 priority. Our staff already followed strict cleaning and disinfecting protocols regulated by Algoma Public Heath before the effects of COVID-19, but now we’ve adopted extra time and precautions in preparing our business for you to ensure all Health and Safety measurements required are in place. For the safety of our staff and customers we have modified our operations to meet those requirements and with the hopes of serving you effectively during these unprecedented times. The following safety precautions are being taken to protect the health and wellbeing of you and our staff during your visit: *Our staff has taken refresher courses on Salon/Spa Infection Control and earned certificates displayed in the salon. *Our staff will wash their hands thoroughly before and after contact with each client. *Our salon continue to use DIN-Registered disinfectants on tools, containers and all surfaces that you may come in contact with during your visit. *Physical distancing measure will be in place as much as possible. Plexi shield barrier will also be placed at check out and other areas. *Our waiting area will be closed, we ask you come alone during your visit with us. Please let us know if you need assistance. *We will ask you to please arrive on time, not sooner as doors will be locked. Please wait in your vehicle until your stylist contacts you by text or call. No cell phone? No problem, we will come out and signal you in. *We will be limiting the number of clients allowed into the salon. No more than 1 client per stylist allowed entry for services. *Face masks are mandatory, as per new regulations. We will provide everyone who enters the salon with a new mask to wear. *Hand Sanitizer will also provided for you to use upon arrival. *We will ask that you place your personal belongings in provided sanitized bins. *A short questionnaire will be given for you to complete as per new regulations. * We encourage you to use you debit and credit card tap for transactions. *We will ask that you leave promptly after your hair appointment , as our waiting area is closed to the public for the time being. *We ask that you please stay home if you are feeling sick, and the same goes for our staff. If you are experiencing any flu like or COVID-19 symptoms or have been exposed to someone who may be COVID-19 positive, we urge you to please stay home and safe. We will be happy to work with you to schedule another appointment when you are feeling better and waive all cancellation fees. *Due to the overwhelming amount of clients that were canceled during our closure, we cannot accept Walk-In clients or New Clients at this time. *Also, in efforts to stay on schedule, we may not be able to answer our phones right away. But you are more than welcome to e-mail us. No bookings will done though our Looks Page or by Telephone for the first little while. *We are presently calling everyone who was cancelled during the COVID Closure. If you were cancelled and did not hear from us after June 18th. Although it’s an exciting time for us at Looks, it has also been an emotional one... as we’ve had to say goodbye our colleague and friend Karine Beauchesne Brazeau. After 15 years, she has made the a brave decision to move on from hairstyling to be with her family. We support Karine in her new journey and wish her all the best! We’ve had a great run and lots of fun...thank you for the great memories! We will miss you To all her wonderful clients, we know this was a great loss to you as well. We wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude for being such loyal clients. Unfortunately with the strict regulations placed upon us, we are obligated to work at a much slower pace. If at some point these regulations lift and if we can do more we will reach out! All the best to you as well
