Last chance for a Loon Point getaway! It's been a fantastic summer and we've loved having guests back to safely enjoy the magic of Quadra Island. We will be closing for the season on October 1st so I wanted to let you know we have 5 nights still available in September. Wed Sept. 16 - Mon Sept. 21 are currently open. As we're preparing to welcome back our BC resident guests this week, the local wildlife has been putting on a show. We have a resident buck who likes to nap and nibble around the cottage. And we had a doe give birth right beside the cottage two days ago! Look at that adorable baby!!! And Loon Point's Mouser Team has been in fine form!

Happy Canada Day everyone! Loon Point Cottage is now officially open for BC residents. :) We are booked for July & August but still have dates available in September and October. Come enjoy autumn in our little corner of paradise!

' ! Here are a few things we thought you should know about our new policies and how you can help keep our cottage, and our island, safe! ' 1. . Along with CDC & WHO recommended cleaning and sanitation procedures, we'll be allowing 48 hours between all bookings. 2. . We will be washing ALL linens between guests. Because of this, we will put out a minimum nu...mber of towels. We will provide more towels on request. 3. -. We have always had contactless check-in! But someone will always be close by if you need help...from a safe distance. :) 4. We will provide hand sanitizer and antibacterial soap for all our guests. We will also provide cleaning and sanitizing supplies for extra peace of mind. 5) . We'll make sure you have a current list of businesses that are open as well as their health and safety protocols. 1. . Please bring proof of your BC residency, such as a driver's licence or current mail. We are only accepting bookings from current, full-time BC residents at this time. 2. . Local businesses appreciate guests who wear masks! Help keep our island safe! 3. . Prepare to be as self-sufficient as possible. Our grocery store and pharmacy are open but we're a small island and local residents must take priority. The more groceries and supplies you can bring for yourself, the less strain there will be on our local supplies. (Remember! The cottage is stocked with all the basics, including spices and condiments.) 4. : Do not come if you are sick or have been in contact with someone who is sick. Our current cancellation policy is VERY flexible. All guests can cancel up to 48 hours in advance with no penalty and, if you are sick, you may cancel up to 24 hours in advance. We are happy to re-schedule your booking! We look forward to welcoming you back to Loon Point Cottage and we're working hard to make sure you have a safe & relaxing stay! <3
