Hey there, it’s me Lorissa! I’m the photographer, bookkeeper, web developer, graphic designer, social media manager... well you get the idea! As a child I always loved being creative. I would write short stories, try my very best to draw straight lines (still can’t) and I loved taking what now look like the most random photos. As a teen my friends and I were always doing photoshoots of each other, and I got really into editing photos using a website called Picnik that I c...ringe to look back on In high school I was introduced to photoshop and video editing by my favourite teacher Mrs Nesdoly! I credit her class for helping me realize my passion for the arts, which led me to completing the Visual Communications program and earning my B.A.A. Long story short, back in 2015 I photographed my first wedding, and ever since I’ve been hooked! Capturing two people in love brings me so much joy, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything Here are some things about me! - I have 2 rescue kittens, Flynn and Ollie who act more like puppies most days and I love them so much - Lee is actually my middle name, not my last name! My mom and nephew have the same middle name. - I used to be a competitive gymnast and I can still do the splits! - I have naturally curly hair (we’re talking ringlets and frizz here) - I’m pretty short at 5’3 and no one ever lets me forget it - Before I started photography I was a graphic designer - My boyfriend says that I’m pretty okay and he told me to write that when I asked him what to say about me Thank you so much for following along, and I’m so excited for all that’s to come in 2021

So apparently I took this exact same photo in 2020 and 2019... who wants to be the one to do this in 2021?! I wanna keep it going!! However I must start off with a few important notes:... If Covid restrictions are extended, the event will be rescheduled. If we do have to reschedule to a later date, chances are all photos will not be ready for Valentines Day so please be aware of that. Robyn + Jesse Their day was full of beautiful details like this, many of them DIY’d by the bride herself. Covid changed a lot of their initial plans, but it definitely didn’t stop them from having the perfect day! I loved seeing all of the traditions they had, including a First Nations ceremony to honour Jesse’s heritage. We were also lucky enough to still have some of the last fall leaves still around to add some beautiful colour to their day! I was fortunate enough to ha...ve the lovely Made Visual By Andrea helping me out for the day second shooting and I cannot thank her enough. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Toth! Wow! The response to this years annual Holiday Boudoir Event has been so amazing and I’m thrilled to announce that there are only 3 spots left!! I am beyond excited to work with this years boudoir babes. This event is what I look forward to the most all year long because we always have the best time, and the results are always incredible. It’s been a crazy year, and yet I feel more thankful than ever. For every extra moment I was able to spend with my best friend and my kitties at home. For every sunny day and every bite of @swirlsicecream. For the little adventures I did still get to take to Banff with the most amazing couples. For all the weddings that I still got to be a part of and that I have to look forward to. For friends that make road trips the best and support me no matter how many times I’m too busy working to visit with them. For a loving family who always makes the turkey dinner for me because if I had to make it I probably couldn’t eat it. For all of my amazing clients without which I would not be where I am today. For all these things and countless more I am so thankful. Happy Turkey Day everyone Gobble gobble!

Kristen + Jackson Their wedding consisted of an intimate ceremony with immediate family, their two best friends, and of course Apollo They will be doing the full shebang as well next year, but they just couldn’t wait that long to be married! I love seeing more intimate weddings and elopements, there’s just something about it. Less planning, less stress, and still all of the love. And that doesn’t have to be it, you can always have a reception later to celebrate with every...one! This day was perfect with all of the beautiful fall colours coming through. The best man and maid of honour were joking around and the couple couldn’t stop giggling, which I love! I’m so excited to see these guys again next year.
