We unfortunately lost our senior buck Shadow a few weeks ago . It’s never easy losing them so we put together a little video to remember the short time we got to spend with him. He was a great buck that we thoroughly enjoyed having around our place. I will miss hearing him talk to me when I did chores and him cruising freely around our yard this summer. RIP big guy

We are proud to announce our entire herd has tested negative for Johnes, CAE and CL This was our first year testing which we plan to do annually, so in order to start on the right foot we decided to test every goat on our place. We also felt it was important to test for all three diseases. We didn’t expect to have any issues but it is still a relief to get the results back. ... We did owner submitted samples to WADDL in Washington and overall it was a relatively easy process and WADDL was absolutely fantastic to deal with. We are still quite a few weeks away from kidding season but my husband and I had our first calf today We purchased our first personal set of heifers in December and although we only have 8 to start with we are excited for our future babies. On a side note for the herd health aspect of things, we don't have any of the cattle at our house, just goats.
