Lung Association of Saskatchewan launches COVID-19 support group. As more people are diagnosed with COVID-19, the Saskatchewan chapter of the Lung Association wants them to have somewhere they can turn for help. The organization has just launched a COVID-19 support group. It’s open to anyone in the province who has been diagnosed with the virus, as well as their caregivers. The group was created so COVID-19 patients have a community they can turn to for questions, peer suppor...t and to share stories about their experiences. The group is not meant to be a source of medical advice, but rather a place for COVID-19 patients to virtually gather. I think when you’re going through any disease or illness, knowing that there are others that may be experiencing a similar situation is always helpful, said Erin Kuan, president and CEO of the association, during a phone call from her home in Saskatoon on Thursday.
