Hi folks, This post is simply to see if there is any interest in the following: I use a lot of homemade stock and broth in the making of my soups and sauces here at Lily Ruth Catering. I have had a few requests to purchase litres of them. Please let me know via this post whether you would be interested in purchasing freshly made (and I can either sell fresh or frozen) stock and broth. I will sell these at $4 per litre. My thoughts are to make large quantities Of chicken, Turk...ey and lamb stock. If there is enough interest I can make veal/beef stock as well. I can even make Demi-Glace if there is interest however that will have to be $7.50/L. Update on this weeks pop-up. We are officially sold out of our lobster burger and our seafood chowder. Those that ordered for tomorrow do not fret.....as we have those aside for you. As written in the original post, we are only open from 11am-3pm tomorrow for pop-up-pick-up. We have a few slots still available to book your food and pick-up. Hello everyone, Just a quick note to say that the pop-up has started with a bang! We did almost 200 today which was interesting due to the covid restrictions and delivering out of our back door lol. With that being said, I am sorry to say that we have sold-out of chowder for this week. I made 24L yesterday and then another 24L today and they are all spoken for as of now. We will be holding another pop-up next week so I will make certain to make a super-sized batch of chowder for next week.

Hello again everyone, A little update on our first burger sale. As we were preparing a burger catering for 40 people, we figured why not make some extra patties and see if anyone wants to purchase them....perhaps we will sell a dozen or two? Well, in less than 24 hours we received orders for, and made over 200 beef burgers and 75 veggy burgers. I apologize to anyone that I had to say no to. Because of that however, we have decided to do it again for this week coming in p...reparation for the long weekend. Ordering via this page ended up to be a bit of a conundrum as I then had to pass all info on to Rachelle to process. (This will be alleviated when we have our shopify store up and running).....so, if you would like to purchase any items, please send your request to [email protected] We will be making our beef burgers (raw, vacuum sealed) and also our veggy burgers again. These, you can purchase for ($3.50 per piece) or (6 for $20) or (12 for $38) It has been asked of me to make a batch of seafood chowder as well. We will be selling this by the litre. My seafood chowder does not freeze well due to the amount of cream in it. If your intention is to put some away in the freezer, please make sure to note that when contacting Rachelle. I will then prepare a batch with no cream and you can add it yourself later when defrosted. I will also be preparing a batch of potato bacon soup as well. 1L of seafood chowder - $10.95 1L of potato bacon - $9.95 Orders need to be received by noon on Wednesday for pick up on Thursday (approximately noon) or arrangements can be made for pick up on Friday as well. Hello everyone! I just thought I would bring you up to speed on the happenings with our new facility. We have moved in and are settled in quite nicely. Our new catering kitchen in Hespeler is ideal. We have been slowly ramping up our corporate events as businesses are navigating covid carefully but with the need for our services. Recently, we catered a lovely outdoor, socially distanced wedding. The first of the year, when by now we have typically done 8. We have a burger... catering tomorrow. I thought I would see if any of you out there would like to purchase our prepared burger patties seeing as we will be making up a big batch. These will need to be pre ordered by tomorrow morning and paid for by e-transfer. They can be picked up tomorrow afternoon at our new facility in Hespeler. They will come raw of course for your home Bbq or kitchen and we will be vacuum sealing them for freshness. We will also be making up our veggy burgers as well. The price will be $3.50 per piece (each weighed out to 5.8oz) or 6 for $20, or 12 for $38. Until we get our online store up and running (we are shooting for end of September) I may just use this avenue to get the word out when we have soups, burgers and such for sale. Hello everyone, I want to thank those who have reached out these past few months showing their support and inquiring as to when we will be back up and running. I have good news and bad news for you. The bad news first is, that after exactly 10yrs (and lease ending in April) at our little joint on Clyde road we have decided to not reopen Little Louies. The good news is, that we indeed are expanding our catering operation, Lily Ruth. Our new kitchen of residence will be in H...espeler as we are taking over the industrial kitchen at Heritage College. With that, we will be providing the food services to the college as well as being able to expand our catering offerings from such an ideal kitchen facility. We have intentions of creating an online ordering system for take home goods (such as our Louie’s burgers for home cooking, veggy burgers, lasagnas, our soups etc) as Covid has created this new avenue of food service. We are working on creating a Louies night every few weeks whereby our customers will be able to order take-out (reminiscent of the joint) for pickup or delivery. Dear friends, family and our loyal customers. We hope you are all staying safe and well through the pandemic. We want to update you on our situation here at Little Louies as well as our catering company Lily Ruth Catering inc. It’s hard to believe but we have been at our present location on Clyde road for exactly 10yrs this month. With that milestone we find ourselves at the end of our lease April 30th. For us to sign a new lease in the midst of this uncertainty is just not p...rudent for us to do so. Stay tuned for what lies in store for us. As we ride out this challenge with all of you and your own situations, we have packed up our things which will be waiting in storage for our next venture.
