"Our actions entrench the power of the light on this planet. Every positive thought we pass between us makes room for more light. And if we do more than think, then our actions clear the path for even more light. That is why forgiveness and compassion must become more important principles in public life." Those are the words of John Lewis. Don't know who is he is? Find out more about him here, and take time to think about forgiveness and compassion -- it feels like our world is having a "judgy" moment.
Ever wonder about all of those video views? Read this. Plus: Words I am sick and tired of: Pivot. Sales Funnel. Branding.
A bright idea for Monday morning. Wonder if there is a community in Eastern Ontario that could do something like this? Thanks to Gary R Champagne for sharing!
If I had some free time . . . I have an invitation to attend this: but cannot get away at this time. So disappointed! Presented by Cogeco, The Toronto Global Forum, will again bring together more than 150 speakers and 3,000 delegates representing more than 65 countries to discuss major issues facing economies around the world including the state of the global economy, finance, innovation & technology, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity strategies, the next generation of i...nfrastructure, smart cities, health, cannabis, global consumer trends, the rise of social entrepreneurship, the global energy transition, and sustainable development. Check the speakers list here. I just wonder, really: does anyone understand where we are headed? Or have we always been this uncertain of the future? https://forum-americas.org/toronto/2019-edition/speakers/
Thanks to Neil Emberg for this photo -- and thanks to Vankleek Hill Sports Club for the use of their popcorn machine. AND thanks to our sales rep Lucie Gaumond Lamoureux for being production supervisor for our popcorn booth during the Vankleek Hill Agricultural Society Fair parade! I only wish I had taken photos of the kids faces as they watched the popcorn overflow the popcorn bin and fill up the machine! Enough of spending time with grown-ups all day long! Kids ROCK!
