A quick word, Mrs. Marilyn Bowslaugh, whose husband rests in Maple Lawn Cemetery, passed away suddenly this week. She was an occasional contributor to this page, encouraging a focus on the theme of attending church, and discouraging too-frequent posting or irrelevant posting. She liked human interest stories best and helped me develop a style for this page, which is intended to provide an interest in Maple Lawn Cemetery. She will be missed

Hi to our Facebook page - a note today to say that this is Peter's seventy-third birthday. What a snowfall there has been in the area now. I trust my dad settles on the choice to keep on task

Hello, it's Patrick here, writing a happy Groundhog Day greeting, for those who know us. We all know how 2020 went, and I think we have to be optimistic that 2021 will be a better year or we really will all start to feel just that much more haywire. This winter it's been my dad Peter and me at the cemetery, working at keeping the grounds tidy, and poking about in the interior of the old church. I have never wanted to neglect our Facebook page, and while I am intent on keeping... many of the same themes I've posted about, to date, it is clearly changing times these days, and the future is undetermined. I believe if I can keep a positive attitude, my dad will keep the same. I hope the winter does prove to have a swift end, and we will continue to do the work we do when spring finally is here. Like many other Canadians, we look forward to the spring with anticipation. Thank you for your continued interest in our Facebook page for the cemetery and feel free to get in touch. Ta ta for now!
