Love Herbert 02.12.2020

Oct 17th is our annual Love Herbert day. The churches of Herbert join together to serve our community. The heart of this serving day is to be out in our Community serving those who are most in need. We recognize that things like raking/hauling leaves, cleaning eve troughs can be a very difficult task for some and we want to help those who are most in need of assistance. If you know someone who could really use a hand this autumn please get in touch and we will try and get them on the list. Thanks for your help!

I just wanted to let you all know of a family that needs extra support and care right now. The Heinrichs son was in a motorcycle accident and taken by stars to Saskatoon. Please be praying for them. Here is the gofundmepage https://www.facebook.com/100012662419507//1065258257239578/

UPDATE 3: We have been told that At 1:20 they were at mortlach. They're driving a white BMW and will put their hazard lights on when they turn into town. Organizers are suggesting to line up 2.00 am. Further updates to come. Hey Everyone, I wanted to let you know that today there is a special opportunity to show support for Steve & Lisa Balzer, the missionary parents of the young lady who collapsed while running in Herbert on Monday, and died: (I am passing this along from P...astor Lincoln. I would love for as many of us to do this as possible) the current plan is to "line up along Shaw St., North of the highway from the Herbert turnoff, this afternoon afternoon to be there when they arrive. Their son Emmett will be riding in a car along side his parents, as they are required to isolate upon landing, but will drive up Shaw St., and then over on Connaught Ave. to Brownlee street (in front of Fred & Marie Harris’s) where Thizbe fell, and then up Brownlee street to Ian & Dolly’s house in town (behind the Vellacott’s). Their flight lands at noon, so planning to start the line at about 1:30. The organizer asked me to let people know, and if they were interested they could join the social distancing display of support See more
