Happy Monday. We enter the first full week of our Christmas gift-away grateful for all of the support we had last week during our kickoff. If you missed it, we have teamed with some of our suppliers to put together a complete living room package that we are asking our customers to nominate someone they feel deserves it.... In December, we'll comb through the nominees and select someone to receive this package just in time for Christmas. All you have to do to nominate someone is drop by our Kingston or Brockville locations and fill out a ballot. Giving back is an important part of what we stand for and strive to do here at Leon's. We believe that local businesses should support events and causes around them, just as the community supports businesses. In September, we supported the Kingston Humane Society's Big Paws event, the Motionball Marathon of Sport Kingston, the Kidney Foundation of Canada's 2020 Kidney Walk, Emmett's Annual KGH NICU donation, the Cure Cancer Classic, the Brockville Go Kart Club's Fall Classic... and Almost Home Kingston's @Home Gala Auction. We are proud to be associated with these great events and organizations.

Today, we donated two new mattresses to the city's shelter at Artillery Park. Our own Jan and Diego delivered them. We appreciate the city's efforts to provide a safe drop-in centre for the city's most vulnerable.
