It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that Pastor Jason and I have had to make the decision to close down Amazing Grace Sanctuary. It comes with much prayer and deliberation. It is coming up on a year since Pastor Jason has been in the hospital with no light in sight of leaving barring a miraculous healing. I Pastor Wendy have carried the church as long as I can with the help of my husband, Tammy Roberts, Mike Roberts , Pam Arbeau, and Jess Cyr to drive the van to pick p...eople up and so much more etc. Thank you so much for all you have done to help lighten the load. At this juncture some of these need to pull back because of family obligations. Jason and I feel that we need to accept that God has chosen to allow Pastor Jason to be in this situation for whatever reason. Never have I met a man so committed to the work of the streets. Street ministry is very demanding and both Jason and I have risen to the challenge. My heart is in it and I will continue to be there for our precious people. Pls contact me if you are in need and I will do my best to accommodate. Pastor Jason Spencer has eat , sleep, breathed loving and caring for the souls and well being of the people of the streets of Fredericton and his heart still beats for it. There is little he can do from a hospital bed. I am full time operating my special care home which has become increasingly demanding as it has grown. I can not do justice by the church. If it was as easy as just showing up to preach or lead worship that would be doable. The behind the scenes work of the church outside of what meets the eye is very demanding and really a full time commitment. I cannot continue to carry it . Thank you to all of the ministers who have stepped up to preach for us here and there this past year while Pastor Jason was in the hospital. Hal Babcock, Lawrence Morin, Rufus Hooper, Bro Ferris, Dave Karen Hardy, Darrel McLellan, James Bustard and if I have missed your name thank you to you too. I have been so blessed to work along side of Pastor Jason and share his dream for this work. It is my opinion that it would be hard pressed to find a man to step up and fill his shoes concerning street ministry as this is a whole different ballgame when it comes to Pastoring. He has done it well!! Thank you for your service Pastor Jason even in the face of much adversity. I know God is very pleased in your efforts.
