Well I’m finished carving my koi fish! I’m really proud of them, only the second relief wood carving thatI’ve done. I’m going to paint them with ink and use lots of colour!

This is my table set-up I had in the Art show at the Arts&Culture centre today. My husband was also there playing some mellow back-ground guitar music during the show. The blue jays are paper-tole. The rose, trees and little bear in front on the trees are my wood carvings that I painted in watered-down dye. The table itself I actually saved from a garbage dump, sanded it down and refinished it with a fusion paint!

I thought I would put my wreath making skills to good use! lol I was born and raised in Toronto, I played hockey for years and I will always be a Toronto Maple Leafs fan!

Trying to decide whether to add colour to my carved pony. I still want the wood grain and carved look to show through. I may try watered down dye/ink.
