Yup, during COVID it feels like Groundhog Day over and over again! But keep fingers crossed for a short winter so we can get outside and visit with friends and family again!
LOL, look who was in Wellington today. Maybe Prince Charles and Camilla told Bernie all about the County's charms!
Sending you a virtual hug. Everyone could use a hug right now, pass it along :-)
There is a magical quality to night time in the County. When I found myself humming We Only Come Out at Night, it occurred to me that I had accumulated lots of County nightlife photos that should be shared hope you enjoy them!
Not that I'm trying to rush the season, but I thought I'd better get started on painting the Christmas cards. Christmas shopping will be different this year, I've hardly been in a store since March (except for groceries).

Today's weather feels like our brilliant fall colours will soon be fading. I look forward each fall to this view of Hagerman's farm, with the pumpkins and market tables piled high with veggies. This painting helps me to remember those autumn vibes.
The Regent Theatre is hunting for a OFFICIAL GHOST! And it could be you! It's not too late to enter the contest. For $25 you can submit an entry to become the Regent's official ghost. The contest closes on Oct. 31 at noon. The winner will be unveiled on Hallowe’en. https://www.regentghost.ca/
Who doesn't love a good ghost story? This new collection of County hauntings is just in time for Hallowe'en. What other County ghost stories do you know?
Thank you to all the local organizations and people that have worked so hard, for so many years, to make this happen. Premier in Picton announced $8.7M grant for County’s hospital
Enjoy the wonderful fall colours and gardens at the Black Walnut Gardens open house. UPDDATE: The date has been changed to Sunday October 11, 11-2pm due to the weather warning of rain on Saturday.
