Barbara's Aerial Journey My aerial experience When I first heard of aerial yoga, my initial thought was that this is silly and that it couldn't possibly be authentic to yoga. It took another 2 years before I gave it a try, but then.. within minutes, I was hooked!! Here is why: The aerial silk is a very effective prop for realignment. It is a wonderful tool to decompress your spine. It’s both strengthening and stretching your muscles. The compression of the fabric tu...gging into your connective tissues is helping to release tension in your myofascia. And: It’s powerful and fun. A lot of fun!
