Last Thursday, we were so honoured to spend the evening at Shelter House Thunder Bay Soup Kitchen. With the generous help of our good friends David Facca from BDO, and Regional Director of IG Wealth Management Donna Yocom and her husband Don, our team was able to prep, cook and serve over 150 hot and nutritious meals to those in need. In addition, a $500 cash donation was made to help fill some of their empty cupboards this winter. This was such a fun and gratifying experien...ce that we hope so many other groups and businesses will continue to get involved in. Thunder Bay Shelter House provides over 700 meals daily to residents and visitors. Their service depends entirely on the generous charity of the community through food donations (both perishable and non-perishable) as well as volunteering.
