Participate in the 2nd Annual Authors and Illustrators Festival, held in partnership with Reading Town PEI, on April 29th, 2017. Who: Authors and Illustrators ...of any genre/medium. Editors and graphic designers who wish to hone their skills are also welcome, though probably on a shared table for the editors as they have less to display. Date: Saturday 29th April 2017, 10:00am-5:00pm (followed by an evening social event at the Guild in conjunction with the gallery exhibition opening there). Place: The Murphy Centre, Charlottetown Registration: $10/full table, $5/half, shared tables welcome. Participants bring material to display/sell, any display requirements (tablecloths, easels, racks, etc.), and are responsible for their own financial transactions. There will be the opportunity to read from your work, as well as two or three talks on a relevant subject (we're considering book design, editing, and indie publishing, but will happily take suggestions).
